Harvey Child, a Level 3 Business Administrator apprentice at Totton College, has been an integral member of our Information Centre team and has completed his apprenticeship with Distinction in all areas.
Harvey Child added:
“During my time here at Totton College, I have learned a range of skills and knowledge that prove to be useful in all sorts of situations. From understanding policies such as GDPR and financing to picking up techniques in project management and personal skills, it has all been crucial in my apprenticeship journey.
I have enjoyed interacting with the other Business Administration apprentices but working as an individual too, while also being part of a larger team. The support I received from both my accessor and colleagues has been incredible and has helped me come out of my shell.
My proudest achievement was completing my apprenticeship qualification with full distinctions across the board. Although it was hard work, it paid off in the end and I couldn’t be prouder of myself.
I would advise everyone to have a look at all their options as there are many possibilities and you may find yourself on a path you have never considered and thoroughly enjoy it.
I don’t have a clear view of what I would like to do in the future, but I would like to be working as part of a team in an industry I find interesting and enjoyable.”
