Bobbi Wenman, a Level 2 Hairdressing student has been learning practical skills such as different hair styles and techniques and customer service which will help her progress through her hairdressing career.
Bobbi Wenman added:
“During my time at Totton College, I’ve learned all aspects of hairdressing—practical skills, theory, client service, and what it’s really like to work in a salon.
I enjoy the practical parts of the course to practice different techniques and styles. The teachers are very friendly and approachable, and our class is really supportive.
One of my proudest moments was passing my practical assessments and theory exams, which allowed me to move up to Level 2. It boosted my confidence.
I have to say, the best part for me is the hands-on practical sessions. It’s so satisfying to practice different techniques and styles. And you know what? The teachers here are amazing. They’re super friendly and approachable, and our class is like a supportive little community. We all help each other out.

Looking ahead, I would like to start work as a hairdresser, using the skills and qualifications I gained here and eventually, I would like to open my own salon.”
