Aaron Prole, a Level 3 Art & Design student has been learning how to use different art equipment and techniques alongside his photography projects.
Aaron Prole added:
“In my Art & Design classes, I’ve been getting used to using various equipment and different art techniques.
I enjoy each lesson as we go through many units, which I find exciting. I also enjoy working on photography projects as it’s something I’m passionate about. My fantastic teachers like Clayton Lovell, Dave Carter, and LSA Sam Collins have been super supportive and really pushed me to do my best.
One of my proudest moments was creating an Abstract Expressionism piece inspired by Yoko Ono and seeing it up on display in the reception area was a proud moment for me, especially with all the positive feedback it got for its emotion and creativity. I also got a Distinction on that work, so I was very proud.
I would advise any new students at Totton College to not be afraid to take on new challenges and to always stay creative. Keep pushing yourself and never give up.
Personally, I would love to keep going with my photography journey and hopefully study it at a higher level in university.”
