Fresh and healthy: Your campus catering experience 

Our Refectory and Atrium host a catering service with options from drinks and snacks to two-course hot meals. We recognise the importance of having a high-quality food and drink service which serves nutritional, healthy food, with daily options and allergens focussed.  

We have an excellent partnership with our catering providers and regularly meet to review quality and menus. Our kitchen is rated 5 stars for food hygiene. 

Our Student Union provides feedback from the student voice panel which we will gladly listen to, discuss recommendations and respond accordingly. 

Students entitled to Free Meals have an excellent menu choice each day they attend college and can decide if they want to use their allowance for breakfast items or lunch. There is free porridge available for all students and staff at the start of the day. 

We have water cooler dispenser across the campus for all to use and we promote bringing your own water bottle to support our recycling aims. 

Our chefs accommodate individuals with dietary requirements and will discuss your requirements with you directly if required. 

Payment for food can be made via your ID card which is preloaded with a daily allowance if you are entitled to free meals. Alternatively, you can use iPayimpact – a cashless payment system to add money onto your ID card, which you can then use to pay for your purchases at the service till.
