Learn mechanics in a real-world setting 

The motor vehicle workshop is a realistic working environment, located in a commercial setting near the college main campus.  

We have a medium-sized workshop that closely replicates a working garage, this is equipped with vehicle lifts to allow easy access to all vehicle systems. The workshop is also equipped with industry standard specialist tooling for motor vehicle repairs including electronic diagnostics and state of the art lazar wheel alignment.  

A full range of hand tools is provided for student use, and we have an up-to-date range of automotive recycling facilities ensuring that the delivery of training meets that latest environmental best practice.  

The motor vehicle unit also contains modern classrooms adjacent to the workshop, with IT equipment and electric/hybrid vehicle training equipment. Working in this real-life setting encourages and facilitates progression into employment within the motor vehicle industry.
