You’ll need an Entry 3 qualification. How you will be assessed You will be assessed through a combination of portfolio evidence, practical tasks and statements from teachers.

Skills for Life is a dedicated SEND specialist department for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Our Skills for Life team supports students throughout their academic journey, preparing them for adulthood, employment and/or independent living.
Our courses are suitable for students with an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP).
Courses are discussed during the application and enrolment process and are progression routes are reviewed as part of the annual review process each year. When deciding on the right course for the student, we consider the students’ prior qualifications and courses, academic ability, and social skills.
