What will I learn?
Learners on the Pathway to Engagement course will follow an individual bespoke timetable, including English and Maths, to enable them to succeed at a course that is tailored to them. Learners will have opportunities to work in small groups, attend whole classes and have 1:1 sessions with key staff. Learners can experience vocational areas that are of interest to them such as sport, media, music, hair, and beauty, and more.
Work Experience
You’ll do internal and external work experience within areas of interest throughout the year.

Enrichment Opportunities
You’ll be able to take part in activities, both on and off the college site, like sports, trips and visits, and there are plenty of clubs in our enrichment programme that you can join.
Career and Progression
Each year you will have an Annual review at which your progression route will be discussed. You may progress to Pathway to Education or a Level 1 Vocational Course.
Funding and bursaries
Students if you’re aged over 19 you may be eligible for free tuition depending on the course you want to study, your existing qualifications and your financial circumstances. For more information email info@totton.ac.uk or call 023 8087 4874.
Advanced Learner Loans are available for students who are aged 19 or over. Repayments do not begin until the course is completed and you are earning £25,000 or over.
