English and maths can be studied alongside this programme.
What will I learn?
Develop hospitality skills
Apply skills to a work environment (with support where needed)
Gain basic food safety knowledge
Learn a range of cooking techniques and apply them to the work setting
Work Experience
Work experience will be completed throughout the programme in weekly activities. The placements can be a mixture of internal and external work.

You will be assessed through a combination of portfolio evidence, practical tasks and statements from teachers.
Enrichment Opportunities
This cohort will have a choice of the CSI enrichment activities each week.
Career and Progression
Learners can progress onto the next level of qualification, move onto the Certificate at their current level, progress onto a Supported Internship, apprenticeship, or into employment.
Funding and bursaries

Advanced Learner Loans are available for students who are aged 19 or over. Repayments do not begin until the course is completed and you are earning £25,000 or over.
